After a chance meeting on their bikes in New York City in 2004, celebrated photographers Christopher Makos and Paul Solberg would cross paths again months later at a party thrown by the legendary fashion designer Calvin Klein in the Hamptons. “The electricity suddenly goes off at this lavish table of about 30 people who defined Manhattan at the time,” Solberg recalls. “Chris grabs a flashlight and goes to each dish and shows people what they’re eating.
